The Poignancy of Misery

[this is good]
Your post made me re-realize something. Strong passionate feelings are harsh. I believe that when we experience them, everything freezes and all at once, all our senses rush over each other and we take everything in. Writing is so much easier when it's a strong, passionate, and negative emotion such as anger, depression or sadness. Either way, I like reading your writing. :) You have a way of making the reader become the character.

keep it up! :)
Urgh for some reason, Google Reader isn't updating your entries :-/

Anywho, I think for a lot of people, they tend to take joy & happiness for granted, which explains the lack of distinct memories and recollections. It helps keeping a blog/diary. This way, you can just flip through the pages and the moments will come flooding back. :)
Hmm, that may be part of it; but I find that even when I'm "in the moment", the words just don't flow. I think there's just a fundamental difference between the two. I know that visual recordings work for a lot of other people, though, but I guess I'm not your average person :P
